Onsite Registration Rates

Registration includes

• access to all sessions, name badge, program schedule and access to the proceedings.
• an official receipt and certificate for presentation or audience participation.
• Virtual participants will receive a PDF receipt and presenter or audience certificate.

Registration Policies

1. Request for refunds must be received by August 31, 2024. Penalties will apply.
2. Registration does not include transportation or accommodation nor obliges visa support.
3. Onsite registration is granted on a case-by-case basis and does not include invitation letters.

Force Majeure Clause

The organizers of ICERE 2024 cannot and will not be held responsible if the ICERE 2024 is postponed or cancelled due to natural disasters (fire, storms, earthquakes, hurricanes,  floods), governmental or societal actions (war, invasion, civil unrest, labor strikes), infrastructure failures (transportation, energy), pandemic-related developments, epidemics of diseases whereupon the government initiates an emergency declaration that forces the closure of a building, city, region or country and reduces, limits or orders austere travel restrictions. The latter would include any governmental order prohibiting the conduct of a meeting or restricting the size of a meeting to no greater than a specified number of attendees. Moreover, a failure to meet the minimum number of submissions and registrants required for the event to be viable or any other cause reasonably beyond the parties’ control (collectively referred to as “occurrences”), making the event commercially impracticable, impracticable to perform, illegal, or impossible to fully perform under this Agreement as the Parties originally contracted.  In such cases, the affected Party may terminate this Agreement, without liability, upon written notification. In such an event, the organizers will make every effort refund the full amount of the registration fee for participants that have paid the ICERE 2024 registration fee.

Registration Payment Methods

Register by Credit Card

Registration by credit card is available via PayPal. If someone else is paying on your behalf, please inform the Secretariat. Registrants will receive three receipts: (1) an automatic receipt from PayPal; (2) an E-mail payment confirmation from the event; and (3) a hard copy receipt at the event.

Register by Bank Transfer

We permit registration by domestic and international bank transfer. Please note the following rules and conditions:

Domestic Bank Transfer

1. Local banks in Japan or ATMs should be used.
2. Kindly inform us if another person or organization will pay on your behalf.
3. Transfers may take several days to confirm receipt of your payment.
4. Contact us to receive the bank information and instructions.

International Bank Transfer

1. An additional surcharge of will be added to the registration fee.
2. Kindly inform us if another person or organization will pay on your behalf.
3. Transfers may take several days to confirm receipt of your payment.

Register Onsite

Onsite payment is permitted on a case-by-case basis. Please note the following conditions:

1. Advance approval from the Program Committee is required.
2. Payment by credit cards or other foreign currency is not permitted.
3. Invitation letters for travel will not be issued in advance to onsite registrants.
4. Additional rules and conditions may apply.

Invitation Letters and Scholarships

   Please visit the Embassy of Japan nearest you for details.
   
2. What visa support is provided by the organizers?
   Invitation letters are issued on a case-by-case basis for confirmed participants.
3. Does INTESDA offer scholarships for domestic and international students?
   This is a small event with a small budget. We hope this situation will change in the future.
