The 3rd International Symposium on Education: Friday and Saturday, October 8-10, 2025 in Osaka, Japan and Online»

Welcome to ISPED 2025

Welcome to the 3rd International Symposium on Education held October 08 to 10, 2025 in the vibrant metropolis of Osaka, Japan.  ISPED will be held just two minutes on foot from Shin-Osaka Station at the Osaka Corona Hotel Conference Center.

ISPED2025 will coincide with Expo 2025 Osaka, which is a focus on exploring sustainable solutions and fostering international collaboration. Osaka offers a great jumping off point for teachers and other participants to explore the city and to visit the Osaka Expo – on the artificial island of Yumeshima in Osaka Bay.

ISPED was first convened in 2017 in Nagasaki during the 72nd memorial of the atomic bombing, and again in 2018 in Hiroshima — both events focused on strengthening peace through education; however, with the COVID 2019 outbreak, this symposium was suspended. We are delighted to reconvene ISPED in 2025!

The pandemic has transformed the way educators teach and students learn, and since its end, global education has truly become a period marked by both challenges and opportunities in this post-pandemic world.

Thus, with the theme of “Strengthening Education in a Post-Pandemic World,” ISPED2025 will provide an intimate platform for discussing both the challenging problems in teaching as well as innovative techniques and opportunities across all education levels. We believe that examining teaching challenges requires a holistic perspective that embraces the critical relationship between the teacher and the learner.

This theme and location in Osaka is the ideal environment for teachers and educators to deliberate on the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in the field of education in a post-pandemic world. Osaka City presents the perfect landscape for teachers to expand their knowledge and cultural experience.

Early submissions are due by Tuesday, July 15, 2025.
